A Little Craftiness
So on my last post, I said I would post pictures of my apron that I made for Halloween...well, I went one step further and also made a Halloween wreath and posted that picture too!! The wreath was super fun and simple to make, but just for future reference to myself, or to others, use something a little more firm that will hold the shape of the wreath. I used a copper insulator, and the weight of the legs at the bottom turned my wreath into a more oval shape. Not that it's a big deal, but in the future, I would like circular ones :) All of the fabric on the wreath is leftover scraps from my apron and my mother's apron I made earlier, except for the skirt, hat, and shoes. Much cheaper than buying an already made wreath!!!

Craft Time!!!
I'm super exited....I have begun sewing and making crafts of all sorts. Working in the fabric department at Ace Hardware sure has its perks. Once I figure out how to upload pictures, I will have to post pictures of the wonderful (well, to me anyway) things I have made. I'm getting super baby hungry, so that's usually the center of all of my stuff. However, I have made the most adorable Halloween apron, and am currently in the process of making one for my mother. This one I will definitely post pictures of. So be sure to look for the pictures!

Life as a Married Couple!
So this is my first ever blog spot....so bear with me while it is still developing.
Cortney and I have been married for 7 months now!! Sometimes I think time flies, while other times it seems to move at a regular pace. We are still trying to get used to the whole being married thing, but fortunately, it's coming along nicely. In these seven months, we have had many adventures, some exciting, some not so exciting. My favorites have been fishing trips, caming in our living room, and our movie time. So really we don't get out much, and when we do, it's up to the mountain....who knew I would turn into the kind of girl who has her own .22 rifle, goes fishing, and looks for deer and elk on the mountain?!?!? But, Cortney has shown me the light :) Well, that's it for today, more next time!
